Raleigh now tops another list as the fastest-growing city in the U.S., according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau and analyzed by Forbes. The Census data compared growth from 2010 to 2012, and Forbes looked at data going back to 2000, during which Raleigh has grown faster than any other city in the country. The Raleigh metro area has grown by 47.8% since 2000. This should come as no surprise to Raleigh residents and those keeping tabs-Raleigh is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live and work in the country.
